Printing your flyer
Click "Final_ Compose" below to bring up your completed flyer.

  • Microsoft's Internet Explorer: For a clean page select "File" in left corner of Explorer's top menu, then select "Page Setup" in the dropdown menu and make sure "Header" and "Footer" are blank.
    • To print the document, right click in the completed flyer and select "Print" fom the drop-down menu.
  • Netscape: For a clean page select "File" in left corner of Netscape's top menu, then select "Page Setup" from the dropdown menu. Set the "Scale" to 80% then select "Margins & Header/Footer" and make sure all settings are "-blank-".
    • To print the document, click the printer icon near the right edge of the top menu bar.
Click to view and print your flyer in final form.

  • Photographs must be converted to the .JPG or .JPEG format and reduced in size to 370 pixels wide and 280 pixels high for proper display in this flyer. This can be accomplished by scanning regular photographs or using a digital camera.
  • Scanners: Scanning a plain color photograph is the easiest way to load, resize and format your pictures for the web. Popular flat-bed scanners such as Epson and Cannon come with software that lets you set a target width and height in pixels, then save the picture as a .jpg computer image. Canvas your friends and co-workers and you're sure to find a computer savvy friend willing to help. If not, try the copying staff at Kinkos or Office Depot.
  • Digital Cameras: Most of these cameras come with free add-on software that allows more resizing and re-formatting than the basic camera software. We have tried ArcSoft's PhotoImpression and found it easy to use. A simple menu lets you select width and height in pixels, then choose from several image formats that include .JPG. As with scanning, finding a camera bug friend of the digital variety can save you a lot of time.
